Zachary Piper Solutions is currently seeking a Jr System Administrator who will support a government contract located in the following areas: College Park, MD, Reston, VA, OR JBAB.Responsibilities for Jr System Administrator:* Collaborates to develop innovative solutions to enable secure and reliable operations of enterprise computer systems.* Works individually or in a small integrated team, and may also lead a task, project, or team. Ensure project completion and provide guidance and direction to lower-level technicians, specialists, and managers.* Develop new concepts and processes and analyze root causes and resolve complex issues utilizing your full knowledge of industry.* Perform systems administration of cyber tools sets and server systems connected to networks across multiple classification domains.* Provide support to developmental and operational systems, including day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for all client, server, storage, and network devices.* Configure and manage Windows, UNIX, and Linux, and install and load operating system and application software, including Host-based Security System, Endpoint Security Suite (ESS), Splunk, Cribl, and network security tools, including Firewalls and ForeScout.* Support Windows and Linux systems engineering efforts in system design and evaluation, solution engineering, software development, or system administrationQualifications for the Jr. System Administrator:* 5 years of relative experience* TS/SCI Clearance* Security + or any IAT Level Certification* Experience with Linux operating systemCompensation for the Jr. System Administrator:* $80,000 - $95,000 *Depending on Experience.* Cigna Medical, dental, vision, 11 Holiday, 401k, 2-week PTO* Will Sponsor a CI Poly#LI-SH2Key Words: Service desk, Support, help desk, ticketing system, customer service, secret, DoD, Security +, Tier I, Tier II, team, problem solving, tickets, analytical, devices, servers, computers, application, CI Poly, Clearance upgrade, Sys admin, Systems admin, System administrator, Systems Administrator, Linux, Stiging, Linus operating system, Windows, Virtual Machines, Sec+ Security Plus, System, Systems, Cyber, Cyber Security, RHEL, Red Hat Linux, Splunk,
