Position Summary:
D.C. United equipment interns will have a unique learning experience of working with a Major League Soccer team. Interns will shadow the role of D.C. United's first team equipment managers and learn what it takes for a professional sports team to operate at a high level. This position will work out of Inova Performance Center in Leesburg, VA. This is an unpaid internship.

Position Summary:
D.C. United equipment interns will have a unique learning experience of working with a Major League Soccer team. Interns will shadow the role of D.C. United's first team equipment managers and learn what it takes for a professional sports team to operate at a high level. This position will work out of Inova Performance Center in Leesburg, VA. This is an unpaid internship.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in locker room maintenance and organization.
- Help equipment managers with daily laundry from training session or matches.
- Assist coaching staff with a training field set up.
- Assist with preparation of new training/match gear, including use of a heat press.
- Organize and maintain equipment room.
- Assist with the equipment needs and preferences of players and coaches.
- Assist equipment managers with inventory management.
- Prepare First Team match uniforms.
- Manage transport, inventory and organizing of all kit and equipment for matches or training at Audi Field.
- Help with all matchday activities including assisting with warm up's and in-match/halftime needs of players and technical staff.
- Assist with packing for First Team away trips.
- Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
- Enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program and eligible for college credit.
- Available 20-25 hours per week
