Lifesteps, a premier Early Education Center in Beaver, PA, is currently seeking a full-time Childcare Assistant to work with children and infants from 6 weeks to 5 years of age. The role assists the head teacher with activities, lesson planning, parent interaction, games, outside play, etc. Experience with special needs children or clients is preferred, but not required.

Flexible work hours, Monday through Friday 8:15-4:45.

**POSITION REQUIREMENTS:**

* High School Diploma/GED and 30 credit hours from an accredited college or university in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, Elementary Education, or the Human Services field

OR

* High School Diploma/GED and 2500 hours of work experience (paid or unpaid) related to the care and development of children

OR

* Associate's Degree or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, Elementary Education, Child & Family Development, or similar Human Service degree
