Job description
Summit Human Capital is seeking a highly motivated Expert Software Engineer to support a federal program in the Chantilly, VA area. This position requires an active Top Secret clearance with existing SCI or SCI eligibility. Responsibilities include: Conduct various engineering tasks across federal agencies, including requirements, solutions, scheduling, reliability, resilience, services development, integration, testing, evaluation, maintainability, and analysis.
Plan, analyze, and trace user requirements, architectures, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems. Evaluate cloud service capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations.
Develop solutions based on requirement analysis and new technologies. Mentor junior engineers in developing these skills (senior role only).
Assist the government in capturing and translating mission and customer needs into system/capability requirements and solutions.
Support requirement analysis and allocation to systems architecture components and program execution.
Assist the government with systems integration activities.
Support the government in strategic technical planning, project management, performance engineering, risk management, and interface design.
