Based in Baltimore, MD, with offices in Herndon, VA, we're a global tech provider leading in innovation for the Defense and Aerospace Sector. Our Power Systems Division excels in power electronics and renewable energy, while the Mission Systems Division delivers top-notch IT solutions for national security. The ISR Systems Division supports the Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance community with a focus on SOA architectures globally. We're seeking a high-level Software Engineer with a TS/SCI Full Scope Poly to support our team: Demonstrated minimum of five years of experience in designing, developing, testing, and deploying Java code to a production environment (from scratch, i.e., not limited to tweaking existing code, O&M, etc.).
Demonstrated minimum of two years of experience in designing, developing, testing, and deploying big data solutions to a production environment. Preferably, experience with ALL three listed below:
- Hadoop or Spark
- Solr
- Hbase
Demonstrating at least two years of experience in designing, developing, testing, and deploying cloud-based solutions (applicants should list cloud technologies used). These experiences can be in conjunction with the big data and Java experience requirements listed above.
Demonstrated experience (and willingness) to undergo the pull request process where every technical task/code deliverable undergoes nearly full code coverage (i.e., unit testing) and a peer review before deployment to a non-production environment. Nice to have: AWS Developer Certification
