Your high-quality content will reach diverse audiences across multiple channels, including email campaigns, white papers, LinkedIn posts, video scripts, and YouTube. Primary Responsibilities:
- Write engaging, fun, and informative content for blogs, video scripts, case studies, infographics, marketing emails, white papers, and other marketing materials.
- Experience a divine enjoyment when editing content for accuracy, clarity, and adherence to brand voice and style guidelines. Must love to edit.
- Have a genuine enjoyment in crafting content with an audience-first mindset. Emphasis will be placed on the quality and impact of projects vs. a focus on the number of projects completed.

- Conduct research on various topics to support content development.
- Possess a working knowledge of AI writing tools, with an understanding that AI creates a great first draft (quality of prompt pending), but your editing abilities and enjoyment in polishing a project to perfection will yield the best outcome.
- Assist in creating style guides or suggesting changes to maintain consistency and clarity across all content.
- Optimize articles and other content assets for SEO and accessibility.
- Identify gaps in content and recommend new topics or ideas to address them.
- Create posts for multiple social media channels to drive engagement and visibility.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices to inform content development strategies.
- Distill complex concepts and language into content that is easily understood by our target audience.
- Manage and prioritize multiple content writing projects to ensure timely completion.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop and maintain editorial calendars.
Required Qualifications:
- Must be in the Washington D.C. or Northern Virginia area. Commutable distance from D.C. or Herndon.
- At least 1-5 years of experience in content writing, preferably in a marketing or digital marketing role.
- Proven track record of producing high-quality written content for various channels and platforms.
- Strong editing and proofreading skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Outstanding organizational and time management abilities to effectively manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- A passion for creativity and innovation in content development.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and experience optimizing content for search engines is a plus.
