In its years of service to the university, the AU Ready Hire program has helped to fill hundreds of positions across the university's schools and departments.

The AU Ready Hire program helps to fill positions such as senior administrative assistant, staff assistant, customer relations representative, program assistant, executive assistant, and general office support positions throughout American University's campus. Educational Requirements

The AU Ready Hire program candidates are expected to have completed at least two years of college.

Minimum Requirements

* Bachelor's degree and at least one year of administrative experience or two years of college and 4-5 years of administrative support experience

* Strong interest in working within higher education

* Superb written and oral communication skills

* Demonstrable high level of attention to detail and high level of professionalism
