A successful Trucking company is currently searching for multiple Heavy Equipment/Diesel Mechanics to join their team. The ideal Mechanics would have experience working on a variety of different heavy equipment and specialty vehicles within the construction/industrial industry. The Mechanic would be responsible for preventative maintenance, chassis repairs, and configurations of hydraulic/electrical systems.
Job Duties:
Maintain the cleanliness of trucks and support equipment
Maintain cleanliness and safety of the shop and yard
Perform preventative maintenance and advanced repairs to chassis and upfit components
Complete advanced inspections and quality check the work of others
Diagnose and repairs on electric, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
Troubleshoot and repair drive train components
Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic systems
Supervise and train others
Maintain inventory and work with vendors to place orders
Requirements:
3 years of experience or 2 years w/ formal training
Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Toolbox,complete tool set including hand,airand electrical diagnostic equipment
Advanced experience with standard diagnostic software
Advanced knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems
Ability to read and follow schematics
Maintain accurate records of each repair performed
Possess a valid driver license with the ability to obtain a Class B CDL with endorsements
Use all required PPE and work safely
