Intelligence Analyst

Job description

We are seeking experienced Mission Specialist Deep Dive Analysts to join our growing company as part of a large, customer-run program in specialized mission-focused offices. The Mission Specialist will collaborate with a diverse group of individuals across the intelligence community and directly contribute to the process that shapes government policy and impactful operations.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Conduct all-Source intelligence research, analysis, report writing, and report editing
  • Manage multiple research projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Project planning to include: operational concept development, stakeholder engagement, and implementation of an operation.
  • Preparation and presentation of written and oral briefings to all levels of customer management
  • Potential for TDY travel

Education and Experience

  • A Bachelor s degree is required or 5 years additional years of relevant operational experience for this position.
  • Minimum of 2 years' relevant operational experience within the sponsor's organization or other relevant organization(s) in the Intelligence Community

Required Skills/Abilities

  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Requires an active TS/SCI w/ Poly
  • High degree of personal integrity
  • Ability to simultaneously manipulate multiple sets of data to derive inputs for deep dive packages
  • Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Attention to detail and the ability to effectively follow-through and manage status reporting and scheduling
  • Familiarity with the customer s report writing standards
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team

Desired Skills/Abilities

  • Relevant Customer Certifications
  • Basic familiarity with both tactical and strategic military operations
  • Familiarity with various Intelligence Community partners and their operations
  • Proficiency with software and databases used in support of research and analysis for the U.S. Government
  • Foreign language proficiency is a plus!

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Routine video conference and/or in-person meetings
  • Ability to attend planned meetings within the Washington Metro Area region
