**Position Description:**

Our Transportation team is looking for an experienced civil engineer-in-training to join our Reston, VA office. Interested candidates must have a willingness to perform general transportation design tasks and support various project managers as required. Project may include:

* Traffic Impact Analysis

* Corridor and Safety Studies

* Signal Timing and Design

* Intelligent Transportation Systems

* Multimodal Transportation Planning

**Position Requirements:**

* BS degree in Civil Engineering

* EIT with a desire ability to become a Professional Engineer

* 2 or more years of relevant Transportation engineering experience

* Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills

* Outstanding organizational skills

* Desire and ability to help train young professionals

* Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines

* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

* Ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously

* Proficiency in MicroStation, Synchro, GIS, and Excel. VISSIM a plus

* Previous Transportation experience with a civil engineering design firm
