Oversee the entire lifecycle of the faculty recruitment process:
Pre-recruitment phase - preparing and obtaining approval of search request, scheduling and facilitating search committee meeting(s), conducting recruitment search protocols, obtaining prices quotes for the placement journal advertisements, monitoring/tracking application receipt, responding to candidate inquiries.
Recruitment phase -coordination of search committee review/scoring of applications, scheduling and facilitating search committee meetings(s), coordinating candidate seminars and visits, preparing CCR community-wide announcements, and issuing LOIs.
Post-recruitment phase - preparing appointment/salary requests, preparing CCR community-wide announcements, preparing search summaries, tracking and monitoring appointment/salary requests, and serving as point-of-contact for candidates from issuance of LOI to on-boarding.
Serve as CCR's lead for the annual trans-NIH Earl Stadtman tenure track recruitment search, which includes candidate matching with program areas, relaying administrative requirements of the program to selecting officials, coordinating seminar and interview dates, creating seminar announcements, and completing letters of intent for selected candidates.
Serve as CCR's lead for candidate applications to the NIH Distinguished Scholars Program. The NIH Distinguished Scholars Program (DSP) aims to build a more inclusive community within the NIH Intramural Research Program by reducing the barriers to the recruitment and success of principal investigators from groups underrepresented in biomedical research. The program selects approximately 15 investigators from diverse backgrounds each year and provides the investigators with mentoring and other professional development activities that foster research and career success. Selection for the program is competitive and is prestigious recognition of outstanding accomplishments both in scientific research and in promoting diversity and inclusion.

ssess effectiveness of the faculty search process and develops new tools and refines procedures to improve recruitment tracking and processing.

Maintain and/or create databases and templates used in the faculty recruitment process, including, but not limited to the CCR Application Management System (CAMS), letter of intent database, letter of intent worksheets, GovDelivery communication templates, Faculty Recruitment WIKI site, tracking spreadsheets, etc.

Maintain updated library of resources on wellness programs, work/life balance policies, federal benefits, and career development to maintain consolidated web page for candidate reference.

Provide consultant/strategic planning services to CCR staff/leadership on matters related to faculty recruitment issues. Skill set info
Minimum of five years of experience reflecting expert knowledge of Federal human resource/administrative policy development, strategic planning, management analysis, and program evaluation. Education bachelor's degree in human resource management, business management, or related field.
