Aerospace experience is required and if you have that, apply now!Title: Quality Inspector - Certifying StaffLocation: Sterling, VAHourly Pay: $33 per hourDuration of assignment: Open ended (can be contract-to-hire for the right candidate)Job DescriptionUsing existing aerospace knowledge and expertise to inspect varieties of finished articles to ensure conformance with FAA/EASA/TCCA Part 21 specifications and established quality standards, including customer requirements.Review, analyze, and approve aerospace articles that have been maintained under FAA/EASA/TCCA regulations and/or received special certification processes.Perform inspection procedures and issue TCCA Form 1 on all New Articles manufactured under ASQR 4.6. All inspections shall be performed in accordance with Company's QAD 3.8.4.6.1CS, Quality Management System, QAD and SAP inspection plans.Accept the responsibility for a rotating 24-hour On-Call shift schedule.Required QualificationsMinimum of 5 - 7 years of aviation maintenance experience and knowledge of aircraft operations, systems and practices OR 5 - 7 years of manufacturing experience under one of the following: FAA FAR Part 21, EASA Part 21G TCCA Part 21FAA Airframe & Powerplant license preferred but not requiredFamiliarization with aerospace quality control and quality assurance systemsFamiliarization with First Article InspectionCitizenship RequirementsUS Citizenship is requiredPay Details: $33.00 per hourBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
