What We re Looking For:The VP of People Operations and Systems will be a member of the senior People leadership team and will provide strategic and day-to-day leadership on all global HR systems and people organization operations including shared services, people analytics and policy maintenance and execution. The VP, People Operations and Systems will be responsible for coordinating the activities of their team, as well as coordinating the team s interaction with multiple other teams throughout the organization. They will be responsible for developing a roadmap that addresses the needs of the global organization, including streamlined processes, systems and reliable technologies.The Vice President, People Operations and Systems (VP, POS) provides strategic leadership on global HR systems, people operations, and policy maintenance and execution. The VP, POS provides leadership in the development of operational strategies that address the needs of the global organization, including streamlined processes, systems, and reliable technologies. This role will lead the daily activities of the Shared Services and People Analytics team while strategically partnering with internal business units to align operating strategies in support of achieving business objectives.Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:Oversees the strategy for HRIS technology to address the ever changing needs of a growing organization with consideration for global growth and acquisitions.Oversees the planning, development, and implementation of new or redesigned global HR systems, reports, policies, and procedures. Leads global Shared Services team, responsible for delivering streamlined people processes and transactions, including ownership of policy maintenance and consistent execution of defined processes.Collaborates with senior People leadership team and internal business units to identify improvements and enhancements to global HR systems. Makes recommendations and implements solutions as appropriate to achieve business objectives.Leads and defines the strategy for leveraging people analytics, including management of our engagement surveys, to create meaningful and actionable insights that serve the broader people team and business leaders.Things That Should Be In Your Background:10 years of progressive leadership experience in the HR Operations and HRIS space, including 3 years experience in a complex Workday environment5 years building strategy and leading teams focused on HRIS, Analytics and OperationsB.A./B.S in Business, Finance, Mathematics, or a related fieldStrong people leadership skillsAbility to manage matrixed relationships throughout the organization, coordinating time and resources according to shifting priorities.Possess strong analytical skills with the ability to understand and interpret data and provide actionable insights.Strong G-Suite and Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, vlookups, etc.) skillsStrong written and/or verbal communication skillsAbout 2U Inc.
