Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in accounting, business accounting, finance, or related field
Licensed CPA
4+ years of tax and accounting experience in a CPA firm
Prior experience at the senior or manager-level
Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams and multiple projects
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain client relationships with excellent customer service skills
Detail orientated
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and organize efficiently
Excellent communication and analytical skills
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include oversight of accounting, tax return preparation, tax planning, and business planning
This individual will supervise staff members, review completed work, and manage client relationships
Ensure the timeliness, quality, and accuracy of all work product and provide exceptional value for clients
Supervise, lead, and develop assigned staff
Oversee client accounting, tax return preparation, and tax planning
Acquire, build, manage, and maintain client relationships
Review prepared Financial Statements, prepared tax returns and other tax filings to ensure accuracy
Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning
Prepare complex individual and corporate tax returns
Research and solve complicated tax issues
Conduct critical conversations with client regarding billing and invoices
Lead initial consultations with potential clients
Serve as a relationship manager for top-tier clients and identify client service opportunities
Develop additional services and specialties within the firm
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local financial requirements by studying existing and new legislation
Participate in continuing education by participating in webinars, workshops, conferences, etc
Achieve required annual CPE credits
Provide exceptional customer service
Maintain confidentiality with personal and sensitive data
