Senior Accountant

Position Overview:

Our client has a need for assistance due to the current workload.

Responsibilities:

• Primary responsibilities of Senior Accountant role are:
  • Recording journal entries (ACH cash/wire receipts/disbursements, allocate health expenses to various divisions, etc.)
  • Preparing ledger account reconciliations
  • Recording and reconciling elimination entries
• Senior Accountant will work with a high volume of data with the above tasks - so this person must be comfortable with Excel
• Ad hoc tasks and projects as requested

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience required for Senior Accountant role to have a strong understanding of reconciliations and journal entries
• Bachelor's degree required in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business or related
• Senior Accountant should have strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP's)
• Previous real estate or construction experience is helpful but NOT required
• Technology savvy to pick up new software quickly with training
