I am with an accounting search firm, and I am working with a company looking to hire a Group Controller. They are a fast growing company, have a fun environment and work collaboratively.
Responsibilities:
To maintain accurate and timely financial reporting.
Oversee processes and staff to support cashflow, reduce exposure, and ensure profitability.
Make sure financial statements are closed within 3 business days.
Maintain clean daily, weekly, and monthly schedules.
Oversee adjustments and write-offs are minimized.
Manage Bank reconciliations and confirm they are balanced and accounted for.
Process payroll accurately and timely.
Manage payables and receivables timely.
Requirements:
3+ years as a Group Controller.
Attention to detail.
Plans, organizes, schedules and budgets in an efficient, productive manner. Focuses on key priorities.
Ability to develop people. Coaches people in their current roles to improve performance, and prepares them for future roles.
