We are seeking a candidate who meets the qualifications listed below.We have a solid team of experienced and respected technicians. Our business continues to grow, and we are looking for another solid technician that is interested in a long-term position and who will fit well into our team.Essential Functions and Responsibilities:Assist with or conduct the daily operations and maintenance of the assigned facilities.Supervise maintenance staff and when applicable assign and monitor maintenance activities and projectsPerform preventive maintenance duties, including changing filters, lubricating motors, replacing lamps, ballasts and fixtures, inspecting and adjusting belts, replacing motor bearings, aligning shafts, and other inspections and maintenance recommended by equipment manufacturersRecommend improvements to the preventive maintenance program on an ongoing basisCoordinate project efforts with outside contractors and techniciansMaintain stock and inventory controlRespond immediately to emergency situations (fire, evacuation, equipment failure, etc.) and customer concernsComply with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency, and company directives as related to building operations and practice safe work habitsEnsure management team is informed of current building operations by compiling and submitting weekly reportingComplete all required Tolin Safety Training as scheduled.Complete 100% of the assigned training requirements for your position classification.Assist in the implementation of the Tolin Policy and Procedures Manual for your facility.Comply with Tolin Dress Code and Appearance and the Uniforms policy while working and maintain a neat and clean appearance while on the property at times other than working hoursKEY COMPETENCIES:Communication Proficiency (oral and written)Organization SkillsTechnical Proficiency (Outlook, Excel, Word)Decision MakingProblem Solving/AnalysisEXPERIENCE:10+ years of HVAC experienceProject managementPossess a valid Universal level certification for CFC and HFC based refrigerants (EPA Section 608); to service, repair, or dispose of equipment that could release ozone depleting refrigerants to the atmosphere or any similar combination of education and experiencePossess and maintain a valid driver s license and good driving record with periodic checksMay require shift work and/or on call dutiesEDUCATION:High School Diploma or GED EquivalentGraduate of apprentice program or trade school preferredPHYSICAL DEMANDSThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

Must have ability to stoop, stand, climb, frequently lift a minimum of 50 lbs. of equipment (pumps, tools, ladders) and safely install rigging/lifting devicesRegularly required to crouch and reach to install/move equipment by bending forward at the waist or by bending legs and spineInvolves movement between departments, floors, and properties to facilitate workAverage Starting Rate:
