Position reports directly to a dynamic and transformational Director of Surgical Services

The Manager, Operating Room will have an excellent support structure including a team of 5 Assistant Nurse Managers, Team Leaders and and Educator

About the Hospital and Department:

Growing and progressive non-profit trauma center that performs over 12,000 annual surgeries

Position will manage the day to day operations of the Surgical Services Department and will report to a collaborative and inspirational Director

About the Nurse Manager, Operating Rooms (Non-Profit) Position:This is a highly autonomous role that will focus on the daily operations of the department. You will also provide mentoring to your staff, ensure collaborative and positive physician relationships, create and implement process improvements, and ensure compliance with regulatory agencies. Our ideal candidate will possess the heart of a servant leader and should be able to build and maintain positive relationships across all levels.

Qualifications & Requirements for Nurse Manager, Operating Rooms (Non-Profit):

BSN required / Master's preferred

RN active license required

Minimum two (2) years of progressive surgical services leadership experience at Supervisor level or above in an inpatient surgical services setting

Minimum five (5) years of operating room nursing experience (hospital based)

INSPIRATIONAL and COLLABORATIVE leadership style

Strong focus on quality, patient safety, staff and collaborating across all levels to ensure and obtain the best patient outcomes
