Indeed, Boot Camps provide thousands of learners with intense, high-quality education that unlocks new careers.You will lead a team of talented developers and long-time contractors on all phases of software development including requirements definition, design, development, testing, integration, and deployment. You will have an important role in architecting our backend and front-end infrastructure and will have the opportunity to build large, web-based applications that serve thousands of users to drive proactive learning and support models for our instructors and students.You have experience shipping large scale products and can debate the pros and cons of moving to a microservices architecture. You have worked in a platform stack that integrates Salesforce with custom software built on technologies like Go, React, Postgres/SQL and a variety of ecommerce tools. Importantly, you are open and collaborative and know how to motivate a team of remote developers. This individual is a senior leader in the Engineering and Architecture team, as well as a senior leader in the Technology function. This individual will manage a team of 40 FTEs and Offshore engineers and will help shape an engineering culture that reflects OneTeam philosophy across the entire Boot Camp tech-dev organization.Key Accountabilities:Strategy, including appropriate allocation of capital to value-oriented business objectivesOperations and ongoing delivery of planned work while minimizing the impact of unplanned workRecruitment, retention and training of world-class software development teamsManaging budgets within allocated rangesOps model improvements as a member of the extended technology leadership team.This individual will report into the VP, Boot Camp Technology and will partner closely with business stakeholders to ensure that technology supports the achievement of the key objectives in the business. They actively seek opportunities to drive software engineering excellence across portfolios and provide strategic context to technology choices.
