Spruce Street Compliance is a compliance consulting firm based out of Philadelphia, PA (or potentially Washington, DC). Our firm is committed to supporting progressive causes and candidates nation-wide. This position will report to the firms Principal.Salary range: $90,000-$120,000/annually + generous benefits package and professional development opportunities. DOEResponsibilitiesManage compliance team including Manager and Associate(s)Maintain client bookkeeping file, budget, and cashflowProviding extensive financial reports to clientsProcess disbursements and track outstanding invoicesRegistering and terminating clients federal and nonfederal registrationsOversee and process client payroll and staff benefit programsOn-boarding and off-boarding client staffMaintain compliance with GAAPPerform bank and compliance software reconciliationsOversee compliance correspondenceCreate, implement, and administer efficient workflowsDevelop relationships with vendors and assist with client procurementPrepare and file federal and non-federal campaign finance reportsExperience and Skills5+ years of experience work with political or non-profit organizationsAt least 3 years of experience with non-profit and/or campaign finance complianceStrong attention to detail and organizedExperience with Excel, Google Business Suite, and DropboxAbility to manage multiple projects at once and meet strict deadlinesAbility to work evenings and weekends to meet deadlinesWillingness to take initiativeStrong bookkeeping/accounting and budget building and tracking experienceExtensive experience with Quickbooks OnlineBachelors degreeCommitment to supporting progressive causesCommitment to working within a diverse and inclusive work spaceA background check will be conducted after a conditional offer of employment has been made to a candidateSpruce Street Compliance is an equal opportunity employer and committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion among its staff.
