House Majority PAC is an organization designed to hold Republicans accountable and help elect more House Democrats. House Majority PAC is committed to building a long-term organization that can take on the Republican outside groups in the battle for the House Majority.The Deputy Research Director will work closely with House Majority PAC s Research Director and Regional Research Desks, assisting with training, management, and executing an independent expenditure research program.Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist the Research Director with management of five regional research desks and oversight of daily research team process and program executionCreate and edit side-by-side and backup documentation for House Majority PAC paid communications, ensuring accuracy and effectivenessEdit and assist in completion of opposition and self-research memos as neededWork with paid media and polling consultants to deliver the most effective communicationsReview House Majority PAC communications in districts, including television, digital, and mail advertisingServe in a senior leadership role for the Independent Expenditure, as top advisor to the Research Director, and second in command of the research teamDesired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Demonstrated commitment to promoting Democratic values and causesBA/BS degreeMinimum two cycles of experience in the opposition research fieldExperience with independent expenditure and paid media ad backupExperience working in the U.S. House of Representatives or on House campaigns highly preferredStrong work ethic and willingness to take ownership of wide-ranging responsibilities; ability to work independently and proactivelyAbility to work under pressure and remain flexible and adaptable as needs and priorities change; experience managing to multiple deadlinesExcellent organizational skills with keen attention to detailSolid verbal, written, research, and interpersonal skillsSense of humor, ability to have fun, and an interest in working within a high-performing team environmentSome management experience preferredSALARY
