**Job Description:**

**This position is responsible for overseeing the inventory levels of businesses, and ensuring that digital tracking software matches actual product counts. The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for developing inventory tracking systems, constantly reviewing levels of product, directing the movement of product within the warehouse, making updates to the digital inventory system to keep available product levels clear, and performing cycle counts as well as annual full physical inventory counts.**

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**

* Work closely with Receiving Coordinators and collect documentation on daily deliveries/shipments to ensure accurate inventory levels.

* Prepare detailed reports on inventory operations, stock levels, and adjustments.

* Perform daily analysis to predict potential inventory problems. Ensure product stock is adequate for all distribution channels and can cover direct demand from customers.

* Communicate with Supply Chain to replenish stock avoiding insufficiencies or excessive surplus, and coordinate with Supply Chain to understand and predict stocking needs and trends.

* Design, implement and maintain an inventory tracking system to optimize inventory control procedures.

* Make recommendations to leadership for process and infrastructure improvements that impact the inventory life cycle.

* Minimize inventory loss by incorporating best supply chain practices.

* Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in collaboration with Accounting, including root-cause analysis and sustained process improvements.

* Perform cycle counts as directed by Accounting/Finance department, ensuring timely and accurate inventory counts.

* Plan and execute annual full physical inventory counts in collaboration with Accounting when required.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

* Solid knowledge of data analysis, **inventory management software,** and forecasting techniques.

* An analytical mind with strong attention to detail.

* Outstanding organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.

* Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

* Ability to accurately track inventory and create reports

* Solid computer proficiency

**Education and Experience:**

* 1 year of warehouse experience required

* 1-2 years of experience with **inventory management required**

* Forklift certification preferred

Warehouse Manager

**Hours:**

Monday through Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm, 40 hours per week.

**Compensation:**

Hourly full-time. We evaluate our compensation offerings according to market medians and internal pay equity.

The starting pay rate is $18 - $20 per hour, depending on experience.
