Knack Works is seeking a Systems Engineer to help coordinate our development, deployment, and maintenance of our services and systems to a government customer. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated experience working across multiple areas of the System Engineering lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate with Government customers and their representatives regarding program status and deliverables
Conduct internal coordinate with multiple matrixed teams to ensure program success
Build and maintain program plans and program schedules
Maintain and manage update system documentation
Build training material and conduct training sessions with system users
Seamlessly implement technical architectures into cloud infrastructure, including design, maintenance, support, and planning
Work through the development lifecycle with cloud technologies, including CI/CD releases
Architect and implement cloud security features, to include ensuring interfacing with identity services and the proper processing of sensitive data from a protection, encryption, transport, storage, access, and auditing standpoint

Here s What You ll Need:

Bachelors in Business Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar degree
Minimum 10 years of technical engineering experience
Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance
Demonstrated experience with System Engineering lifecycle
At least 8 years of experience working within the Intelligence Community
Experience working within an incremental development framework
Ability to coordinate within a diverse group of technical experts
Must be willing to work on-site in Northern Virginia

Preferred:
Demonstrated experience providing technical documentation and presentations to customers
Working knowledge of Linux
Experience with Kubernetes environments
Current DoD 8570 IAT II Certification (Security ) or higher certification or ability to obtain certification within 4 weeks of starting role
Active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph
