Summary

You are a highly motivated and detail-oriented HOA/Condo Community Manager. As the manager, you will provide exceptional customer service and management functions to your clients, ensuring that they become promoters of our service. We offer a great team, administrative support, a competitive salary with a monthly bonus, and benefits. The portfolio will be in Prince George's County with a focus on the southern part of the county.

Duties

Duties include, but not limited to:

  • Inspect grounds, facilities, and equipment routinely to determine the necessity of repairs or maintenance. Investigate complaints, disturbances, and violations and resolve problems following association rules and regulations.
  • Maintain contact with insurance carriers, fire and police departments, and other agencies to ensure protection and compliance with codes and regulations.
  • Meet with boards of directors and committees to discuss and resolve legal and environmental issues or disputes between neighbors. Most meetings are held via Zoom.
  • Prepare detailed budgets for properties.
  • Purchase building and maintenance supplies, equipment, or furniture.
  • Solicit and analyze bids from contractors for repairs, renovations, and maintenance. Administer annual meetings/elections.
  • Attend continuing education classes to maintain credentials and, where appropriate, seek higher credentials.
Requirements

Community Association Manager Job Requirements
  • CMCA or higher designation
  • Valid Drivers License and reliable transportation
  • This is an exempt position; not hourly. Board meetings are billed to the association and are considered in the establishment of the base management fee, which is used to calculate CAM base pay.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable speaking in front of small to medium-sized groups
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Working knowledge of financial reports, budgets
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and email
  • First-in-class customer service skills
  • Strong command of the English language
Physical Requirements
  • Willingness and ability to sit in a seat for long periods, talk on the phone, and use a computer and other business equipment, which may require standing
  • Ability to walk the property for site visits. Willingness and ability to take minimal risk to climb one-story ladders to roof hatches or to go into boiler and other equipment rooms
