Description
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a RN Supervisor at Carroll Lutheran Village to work part time on the weekends! The position would include 2 12 hour shifts per pay period!
What You'll Do as a RN Supervisor at Carroll Lutheran Village:
Provide direction and accountability to the nursing team and certify ongoing compliance with regulations and clinical policies.
Oversee a group of inpatient senior residents (census dependent on state laws) with the support of PCTs to conduct observations and measure stats.
Develop work schedules with adequate staff for each shift to ensure there are enough nurses on hand to provide physician support and patient care.
Manage nursing team to ensure direct care to patients, communication of diagnosis and treatment plans with senior resident patient families.
Consistently evaluate the nursing team, organizational policy assessment and patient file management.
Ensure the highest-level in-patient care is delivered by the nursing team.
Maintain strong communication with Interdisciplinary nursing team and physicians.

Qualifications

Must be licensed in the state of Maryland.
Previous experience as a Nurse Supervisor in a CCRC environment preferred.
Ability to maintain a firm foundation in health care policy, to enforce all relevant regulations and rules.
Ability to leverage a broad range of nursing skills and knowledge.
Must possess a strong desire to deliver care in an empathetic, compassionate way.
Experience assessing, trouble shooting and making sound recommendations in stressful situations.
Excellent communication skills to listen and communicate with senior and teammates.
Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word and Outlook.
