The Director, Chief of Staff role is critical to supporting Enterprise. Data. Machine Learning. (EDML) senior leadership. This leader will be accountable to the Vice President, Chief of Staff and lead a team responsible for enabling leaders to execute strategic priorities while ensuring operational rigor and being Well Managed.
The ideal candidate will be an inspirational people leader with the proven ability to build and enable high performing teams, develop and execute strategy and Well Managed processes, predict, prevent, and solve problems, and tell stories using critical thinking skills. The candidate must have exceptional written and verbal communication skills and deep operational risk management experience.
Responsibilities:
Directly support the Vice President, Chief of Staff and enable business priorities, with a particular focus on strategy development, leadership support, and risk management
Partner with EDML leadership to create, socialize, and mobilize against its ambitious innovation agenda
Build relationships and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand processes and drive results. Connect dots across multiple leaders to understand and aggregate impacts to the business
Advise leadership utilizing institutional knowledge, industry experience, relationship networks in-and-out of the organization to help amplify the voice of EDML leadership
Provide insight to support and drive EDML culture with a focus on the associate experience

At least 3 years financial services industry experience
At least 3 years people leadership experience

Professional certifications: CFE, CCEP, CCRM

New York City (Hybrid On-Site): $228,500 $260,800 for Director, Chief of Staff
San Francisco, California (Hybrid On-Site): $242,100 $276,300 for Director, Chief of Staff
Remote (Regardless of Location): $193,700 $221,000 for Director, Chief of Staff
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidates offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
