Overview:

As an inspired student of Stratford University, you are what we are searching for to fill this position. You will be given the opportunity to gain job experience, while helping shape Stratford University. You will assist the Student Support and Career Services Offices at the Woodbridge Campus with daily tasks and longer term projects. Greeting visitors with a smile and a warm welcome are essential for this role.



Functions:

Essential Job Functions:

  • Welcome all visitors and address any inquiries
  • Assist students and staff with basic information about departments
  • Prepare and coordinate distribution of student ID cards
  • Respond courteously to all phone calls
  • Complete assigned administrative duties professionally and respectfully
  • Demonstrate courteous communication skills both orally and in writing
  • Conduct all activities in accordance with the highest ethical standards
  • Cover reception desk as needed

  • High energy, outgoing personality and professional attitude

Qualifications:

Required Education and Experience:

  • Current Stratford University student
  • Must be in good university standing both academically and financially, GPA of 2.0 or higher
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Customer service experience
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English both orally and in writing. Second language an advantage, but not required
