Personal Injury Paralegal

MUST:

Personal Injury Paralegal

5+ years experience as Personal Injury Paralegal

5+ years of personal injury plaintiff experience.

Must be knowledgeable on DC legal process and procedure.

Experience with litigation matters in the DMV area.

Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, and case management software.

Excellent analytical abilities.

Bi-Lingual Spanish preferred

Must have a Bachelor's Degree or 4+ years of relevant experience.



DUTIES:

Perform client relations responsibilities to ensure client satisfaction.

File pleadings with the courts.

Schedule depositions, hearings, trials, mediations, and client meetings.

Assist with negotiating outstanding medical bill balances and liens.

Prepare disbursement sheets and final distribution letters.

Seek client feedback to improve future firm-client relationships.

Perform necessary administrative tasks.

Maintain files and databases to ensure accurate documentation.

Assist in the drafting of correspondence, discovery, and pleadings.

Assist with coordinating experts.

Request medical records and billing
