Principal Responsibilities:

SUMMARY:

Instructors have a variety of job functions including, but not limited to, successfully leading a class through appropriately designed routines, with proper music selection to enhance overall fitness, strength, and endurance, while ensuring the safety of the members. Recording attendance is considered an after-class duty.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
  • Lead engaging indoor cycling classes, providing a high-energy andmotivating experience.
  • Create challenging and enjoyable workouts.
  • Ensure the safety of participants during classes, includingproper bike setup and form.
  • Inspire and guide participants to achieve theirfitness goals.
  • Create and execute challenging and dynamic cycling workouts thatcater to participants of all fitness levels.
  • Provide personalized guidance and support to participants to helpthem achieve their fitness goals.
  • Maintain a clean and organized cycling studio, including bikemaintenance and cleanliness.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and cycling techniques tocontinually enhance class offerings.
  • Attendstaff meetings and trainings as required.
Minimum Qualifications:

WHO YOU ARE:
  • Certified IndoorCycle Instructor (e.g., Spinning, Schwinn, Les Mills RPM or equivalentcertification).
  • Adult CPR/AED Certification (Training will be provided through the JCC if needed)
  • Previous experienceteaching indoor cycling classes is a plus.
  • Excellentcommunication and motivational skills.
  • Ability to create apositive and inclusive class environment.
  • Reliable, punctual,and professional.
  • Availability toteach classes during mornings, evenings, and weekends.
PHYSICAL SKILLS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

The work environment may be fast paced and requires high energy and interaction with others. The workspace may be noisy, at times.
