+ **Duties**

The following are the duties of this position at the GS-15. If you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform all these duties, and will receive training to help you grow in this position.

- Exercise full supervisory authority over office personnel to plan, coordinate, and implement alcohol beverage labeling and formulation programs, and directs the work of division specialists involved in labeling and formulation projects, activities, and issues, and advises the Division Director and Deputy Director on significant issues or matters

- Manage operations relating to the production and labeling of all domestic and imported alcohol beverages and develops internal policies and procedures to ensure compliance with rules and regulations issued by the agency

- Evaluate the effectiveness of existing programs within the division to determine how the programs interrelate with those in other divisions within TTB as a whole, then make changes or modifications to enhance program effectiveness and/or develop procedures to support emerging issues, needs, and new regulatory mandates

- With Deputy Director and Division Director, develop division's strategic plan, manage program performance and evaluation, and develop and execute short and long-term plans

- Represent the Bureau at meetings and on inter-agency and intra-agency task forces

**You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.**

**Specialized Experience f****or the GS-15:** You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service**.** This specialized experience for this position includes:

- Setting goals, strategies and plans required to meet objectives set by program agencies and executive staff; AND

- Providing analysis and recommendations to executive staff regarding laws and regulations and implementing solutions; AND

- Performing administrative and technical supervision and direction over the work of other specialists or employees. **Specialized Experience f****or the GS-14:** You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service**.** This specialized experience for this position includes:

- Providing advice to others on laws and regulations; AND

- Leading projects or team efforts to evaluate the effectiveness of operating programs and recommending improvements.

**In addition to the above requirements**, you must meet the following **time-in-grade requirement**, if applicable:

- For the GS-15, you must have been at the GS-14level for 52 weeks.

- For the GS-14, you must have been at the GS-13level for 52 weeks.

**Time After Competitive Appointment**: Candidates who are current Federal employees serving on a non-temporary competitive appointment must have served at least three months in that appointment. **Education**
