This role has the primary responsibility to receive, store, rotate and distribute material, tools, equipment, and products within establishments by performing the following duties.

This position is **full-time** **benefit eligible**. **Hours**: A general work week will be Monday - Friday 3:30pm - 1:00am; additional hours may be required due to business demands.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities** include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

* This position involves driving a forklift, loading trailers, picking orders to palletize, stacking boxes, wrapping pallets and working with direct ship programs by performing the following duties.

* Moves levers and presses pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus.

* Positions forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials or hooks tow trucks to trailer hitch, and transports load to designated area.

* Unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting device.

* Picks orders while following warehouse procedures of 1st in / 1st out.

* Inventories materials on work floor, and supply workers with materials as needed.

* Weighs materials or products and records weight on tags, labels, or production schedules.

* Loads or unloads materials onto or off of pallets, skids, or lifting device.

* Lubricates truck, recharges batteries, fills fuel tank, or replaces liquefied gas tank.

* Maintain a safe and neat work environment.

* Perform safety inspections on forklifts, document the inspection and submit the inspection report to the supervisor. Must report any problems found during the inspection right away.

* Must attend all safety and SQF (Safe Quality Food) meetings and/or training sessions and be committed to working to these standards..

**Qualifications**

* Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior warehouse experience is preferred.

* Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

* Must possess a current tow motor license or be able to obtain one within 90-days of hire.

* Must be able to read, write, understand and speak English.

* A knowledge of product codes and warehouse procedures is preferred.

* Must possess organizational and leadership abilities in order to make an informed decision as situations change.

* Must pass a job-related math assessment with a score of 70% or better.

* Must possess a stable work history with good references.

* Candidates must pass a pre-placement screen test demonstrating the ability to perform the physical requirements of this position.
