Junior Interior Designer Location: Cabin John Job Description Anthony Wilder Design/Build is seeking a Junior Interior Designer to join our team full-time. The right candidate will be a team-player who has exceptional oral and written communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a proven track record of success in assisting designers. The ability to collaborate with in-house architects, designers, and craftsmen in a studio setting, as well as on job sites, is needed. The Junior Interior Designer will be responsible for supporting the company in delivering a thorough and well-thought-out design using a collaborative effort with clients, architects and craftsmen. Ensuring client satisfaction is of utmost importance, and the candidate will need to work well as part of a team and be capable of managing multiple projects at one time.

Job Requirements A minimum of 2-3 years of experience supporting an interior design department on residential projects. A degree from an accredited design school is required, and a BFA in Interior Design is desirable. Candidate should be proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite. Proficiency in IVY Software is a plus. Job description includes responding to sales calls, writing proposals, as well as assisting in design. The Junior Interior Designer will perform administrative duties for all interior design projects, including placing and tracking orders, scheduling deliveries and installations, and managing follow-up on all purchases. Portfolio should demonstrate a range of styles. The ideal candidate will have strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills. Must have a valid drivers license and access to reliable transportation.
