BayCare Hospital Wesley Chapel is BayCare's newest hospital, an 86-bed state of the art hospital that opened in March 2023. BayCare Hospital Wesley Chapel is currently seeking a Registered Nurse to join our outstanding and compassionate Medical/Surgical Telemetry team.
The RN responsibilities include:
BayCare Health System, Med Surg Tele Unit - BayCare Hospital Wesley Chapel
Location: Wesley Chapel, FL
Status: Full Time, Exempt: No
Shift Hours: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM
Shift: Shift 1
Shift 1 = Days, 2 = Evenings, 3 = Nights, 4 = Varies
Weekend Work: Every Other
On Call: No

The RN responsibilities include:
- Independently caring for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards.
- Delegating appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.
- Professional accountability and development.
- Performing the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned.

Qualifications:
Certifications and Licensures:- BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification is required
- RN (Registered Nurse) license is required
- ACLS Certification, if required by department
- Nurse Specialty certification is preferred
Education:- Associates degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma is required
- Bachelors degree in Nursing is preferred
Experience:- 1 year of RN experience in acute care or 6 months RN experience in acute care with prior LPN experience and completed competency assessment is required.
