The Consumer Packaging-North America Division has an immediate need for a Technical Development Manager to support our Bottles business within CPNA. As a part of the Product Development Team, this role will be responsible for providing leadership to the Technical Development team along with working closely with PLM, Operations and Sales to develop technical plans that support new and existing business. Responsibilities Manage and support the Technical Development team that consists of technical development engineers and product designers. Responsible for quoting and developing the technical plans of new capital and continuous improvement projects. Work closely with sales and customers to determine packaging requirements. Provide technical support to design team on manufacturability, innovation and productivity Manage the technical development team's performance and provide training. Collaborating with the cross-functional leadership to find ways to improve manufacturing processes and operational efficiencies. Work closely with Sales, Product Development, Designers, Operations, Engineering Services and Product Line Management to develop competitive technical plans that align with divisional goals, strategy and drive new growth. Preparing reports and status updates with relevant information to intended audience. Provide technical support for operations. Maintain and enforce all company safety, environmental, and department of health requirements Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or equivalent experience.
