Overview

SOSi is seeking a Budgetary Financial Manager to support the government customer in the Falls Church, Virginia area.


Essential Job Duties

  • Provides PPBES, contracting, and program execution support for Special Access Programs.
  • Facilitates funding movement and aligns resources to projects.
  • Reviews financial data for accuracy and promptly resolves discrepancies.
  • Tracks current and prior year budget execution, analyzes programs for budgetary irregularities, and provides recommendations for enhanced program capabilities.
  • Advisor for fiscal and budgetary issues while assisting with program s formulation, justification, and execution.
  • Assists with developing and coordinating current and future year budgets, reprogramming actions, and revisions to budget allocations to maximize program execution and prevent budget cuts.

Minimum Requirements

  • Active in Scope TS/SCI Clearance and the ability to be approved for read on to Special Access Programs (SAP).
  • Bachelor s degree required; Master s degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 10+ years budgetary and financial military experience, have 5 years prior experience working for SAF/FM, understanding rank, seniority, and protocol to communicate with senior leadership in both the DoD and IC communities.
  • Experience developing cost profiles and estimates for new projects, assessing and controlling on-going projects, and minimum 20+ years experience complying with all Federal laws and regulations.
  • Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM) and possess DoD Level 3 Financial Manager certifications.
  • Must be familiar with Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution System (PPBES), POM, Congressional Budget Justification Book (CBJB), Government financial management best practices, and program control.
