We are seeking a Human Resources Manager to take over the role of one of the Founders. Additionally, we would like them to be able to take some of the tasks off of our CFO which would be more finance and administrative in nature. You will be responsible for managing HR activities for the organization, finance, and some administrative tasks. We work in the office with some amount of remote, but it is generally a job / culture where we enjoy being at the location.

The ideal person would not need experience but would need to be smart, very capable in excel, trustworthy, able to sit down at a desk and work but also outgoing enough to manage human resources related tasks, and able to learn quickly. This person would work directly with the Founder and the CFO.

We are an online sales company working in sports nutrition, CPG, niche grocery, and food products. We are growing fast looking for people to be on the ground floor of our growing company.

Must be very proficient with a computer, data, and spreadsheets. Tasks will include submitting payroll, managing the company culture, helping with employee reviews, managing benefits, and working to improve the HR related systems at the company. Additionally, we feel there will be time for logging expenses into quickbooks, paying invoices, and logging the day to day financial operations of the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement company culture, values and policies
  • Develop workforce strategies, to recruit and develop qualified candidates
  • Coordinate events focused on employee recognition and dedication
  • Advocate for employee retention and development
  • Log items into excel and Quickbooks
  • Process Payroll

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in Human Resources or other related fields
  • Experience in conflict resolution
  • Ability to build rapport with all employees
  • Strong computer literacy and excel knowledge
  • Strong leadership qualities
