Do you have passion for technology & technical writing, the curiosity and willingness to learn new skills, work with new tools and discover new and innovative approaches to solving complex technical challenges in an increasing cloud-based world?Due to rapid growth, Oracle Government Defense and Intelligence (GDI) is seeking two Senior Proposals Specialists - Cloud Solutions Engineers that have a passion for cloud concepts, and system integration, and cloud migrations that can support internal Oracle sales efforts. This role is ideal for someone who is tired of working on the same project or with the exact same technology for months or years without the possibility of future growth. Those who excel in this role are motivated self-starters who love to solve challenging problems, are strong technical writers ,feel comfortable working directly with customers and have an insatiable curiosity about what "is possible" with cloud technology. The primary focus of a Solutions Pre-Sales Engineer is to become an expert in a core set of Oracle products and solutions and to present the value proposition and benefits of our solutions to our partners, prospects, customers, and internally to our sales force.This is a REMOTE position based anywhere in the US, with a preference for the Washington DC area.Candidates will need to be able to obtain a Secret / Top-Secret Security Clearance to work with the US Federal government.
