The role of supply nursery practitioner:

We are offering the opportunity to join our supply staff, and the chance to work with a kind, friendly and helpful team. We have a supportive management team to create an easy employment experience.
We are looking for a friendly and responsible individual to work with our team of Nursery Nurses. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support for our Nursery Nurses in caring for infants up to 5 years old.
We're looking for a patient, enthusiastic and caring individual with past experience caring for babies, toddlers and/or preschoolers and who can work well with a team.
Responsibilities:
- Qualification in childcare is ideal but experience working with children would also be considered
- Have good knowledge and understanding of EYFS (we can send you this)
- Be able to travel to Brentwood and surrounding areas listed above
- Have a valid Enchanced Child DBS (we can help you with this)
Salary: 11.00- 14.00 per hour

- Communicate and work with young children.
- Help parents and caretakers resolve behavioural and developmental problems in young children.
- Know positive discipline techniques that can resolve behavioural and developmental problems in young children.
- Teach young children how to interact with their peers and respond appropriately when interacting.
- Teach young children how to play and interact appropriately with others.
- You will be assisting in the day to day running of the nursery and spending time with the children in the nursery setting.
- Creating a safe, fun and inclusive environment for the children.
- Help the staff at each nursery you go to with any tasks that they may need including taking charge of activities, supervising groups of children and ensuring that safeguarding procedures are being followed.
