Job description
Lowell School, a progressive independent school in Washington, DC, is seeking applicants for the position of Summer Camp Nurse. We seek a qualified, high-energy Nurse for our fast-paced 7-week summer programs.
Qualifications:
- Must be an RN (minimum)
- Experience working with children (preferably in a school setting)
- Available for the entire 7 weeks of camp, from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm Monday-Friday
- Must be willing to train staff on Epi-Pen usage and basic procedures
- Comfortable communicating with parents
- Compensation is competitive
Dates: June 17th-August 2nd (Weekdays only - No camp Juneteenth and 4th of July)
Hours: 8:00 AM-4:00 PM
Location: Upper NW DC near Rock Creek Park and Downtown Silver Spring (public transportation accessible)
Lowell School requires all employees to be fully vaccinated unless they have a medical or religious exemption. Fully vaccinated includes boosters. Proof of COVID vaccinations will be needed during the onboarding process.
