Job description

We re looking to add a Senior Product Manager who can take ownership of sprints to get improvements or new features out fast and effectively.

In this role, you will work in cross-functional teams to help develop strategies to enhance productivity, mitigate risk to the organization, and enhance the customer experience. You will collaborate with key stakeholders to determine and articulate goals, gather/analyze data, and create process maps, wireframes, system requirements, and reports based on recommendations.

Day to Day:

  • The Senior Product Manager needs to be highly effective at assessing and documenting business requirements.
  • Will take ownership of scoping well-written user stories and managing bi-weekly sprints to ensure that iterative delivery of solutions meets business requirements and expectations.
  • Hold and lead bi-weekly planning and retrospective meetings for each sprint.
  • Curation of Business Process standards develop and sustain process standards and governance.
  • Act as a consultant to various project teams, help drive solution-oriented discussions to create efficient processes.
  • Understands customer and user requirements, their strategies, and their goals.
  • Assist in the scoping of new projects and strategic initiatives.
  • Some strategic initiatives may include ownership of the business process to determine gaps and create long-term solutions.
  • Capture detail businessworkflows and connect them to create a holistic picture of the business.
  • Identify efficiencies and communicate these opportunities to the team.
  • Assure that the project deliverables meet quality standards through testing and gathering user feedback.
  • Write release notes and provide support to operations on questions related to solutions delivered.
  • Subject matter expert and an administrator for Information Management.
  • Make recommendations for product or service enhancements specific to improving Loan Production, Portfolio Management, and Loan Servicing.
  • Develop and maintain 2-year product roadmap for epics and new feature development.
  • Perform technical, operational management of critical platforms, including risk management, process improvement, planning and roadmap development, contingency planning, API integrations with other software platforms, and change management.
  • Facilitate the relationship between key stakeholders and the software development team, ensuring that business stakeholders are aware of changes and that changes meet ongoing business needs.
  • Be goal-oriented and metrics-driven while driving a culture around the same.
  • Develop strong hypotheses about the direction and growth of our business, learn from customer success, and craft our culture of product management.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Product Manager experience.
  • Experience taking ownership of launching Financial products
  • Experience working in construction, construction lending, or construction supply industries
  • Degree in a Business management preferred.
  • Highly organized and the ability to deal with complexity, turning ambiguous inputs into solid action plans
  • Have polished communication skills.
  • You do whatever it takes to make your product and team successful, no matter how big or small the issue may be.
  • Ability to think outside of the box to solve problems.
