Accounts Payable Manager

Job description

The AP Manager will play a key role in supporting the accounts payable process. In this role the candidate is responsible for managing staff,processes and addressing stakeholder concerns regarding invoice processing, employee expenses and other payment requests.ResponsibilitiesMonitor and manage invoice processing including queues, clear duplicate listings, and produce daily invoice reportsManage procurement card program and operationsExecute stop payments, clearing exceptions, and tracking petty cash checksPost batches and daily check run processes; support month-end close and year-end auditProduce weekly AP reporting metricsLead the remediation of vendor issuesProcess improvement and special projectsDevelop and sustain strong customer service relationships with other divisions and Strategic PurchasingPartner with and support the operations of the companyAssist with periodic expense audits or research, and other unscheduled projects as they ariseManage and lead a high performing teamQualificationsBachelor s degree with analytical experienceSupervision and managerial experienceExperience with full cycle AP including knowledge of electronic scanning and imaging and setup and maintenance of vendor master data is beneficialExperience with procurement card administration and operationsSolid leadership skills with demonstrated ability to identify process issues and address before they become problemsProficiency in Oracle and SAP a plus; experience working with general and sub ledgersAttention to detail and pride in data accuracyExcellent track record of customer service; willing to go above and beyond; problem-solverPossess a roll up your sleeves attitudeSolid Microsoft Excel skills and an aptitude to learn multiple systemsClark Construction Group is one of the largest building and infrastructure companies in the United States.Our portfolio spans every major building market, from public to private, corporate to cultural, education to entertainment, and the infrastructure connecting it all power, transportation, water, and roadways.
