Purpose:This is an analytical role requiring initiative, independence and drive, an ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, and an ability to perform a wide variety of duties. As a Global Data and Analytics ABI Developer, you willdevelop reports, dashboards and interactive visualizations, and work with data warehouses, data integration and data modelling to support business decisions, leveraging data to gain key insights to drive business opportunities.While building and maintaining strong relationships with business partners in order to provide support. Responsibilities Power BI solution development and integration with existing architecture Develop tools and maintain the ongoing provision of Power BI configurations Troubleshoot issues with applications and reports in our BI environment. Create and maintain database procedures and standards. and Maintains security in line with company policies Provide support with expertise in data analysis and report development on an ongoing basis. Provide support and manageexisting reporting, report production schedules and prioritizing development. Support the wider business by engaging and communicating effectively throughout the development, implementation and ongoing maintenance of dashboards, reports and analysis projects. Work closely with business areas to develop an understanding of their reporting needs and gaps with a vision of creating business wide dashboards, reports, rich visualizations and conducting detailed analysis Determine ways to utilize system for continuous improvements and recommendations for updated methods (information, methods, cost reduction, etc.) Manage and adhere to established goals and objectives Lead in a BI 'Business Partner' approach with our internal teams to ensure the end users are getting the most from the BI platform and analysis available, thus supporting the overall benefit and increase in data literacy. Perform other duties as directed by Management Design effective layouts using data visualizations best practices Undertaking data analyses to support decision making Develop production-ready Reports, Dashboards and deploy to corporate platform Develop processes, procedures, user manual / training documentation and best practice documentation Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, CIS, MISor related field of study or minimum 4 years' experience in business intelligence technologies Experience in developing within and using Power BI and Tableau or other technologies Advanced analytic skills with the ability to analyse and interpret data through complex analysisto guide readers through a compelling data-driven story Proficient in writing SQL and DAX for calculations which are accurate and performant on large datasets Experience with SQL Server and Azure cloud platform Ability to take requirements, understand them and turn them into a powerful story told through engaging visuals in chosen application Experience in displaying complex quantitative data in a simple, intuitive format and to present findings in a clear and concise manner Strong attention to detail, innovative thinking and problem solving abilities Ability to confidently support, coach and communicate with end users and stakeholders of all levels including advising, training and support of the wider BI function Ability to work dynamically in both team and independent environments is necessary Ability to react quickly to a fast paced, rapidly changing business environment Preferences: 2+ Years of Power BI Development or other technologies 2+ Years of Power BI Administration or other technologies Strong knowledge of an ERP system (JDE, SAP, E1, Sage ) data files and application management services.
