This is a fast-paced, fun practice with an excellent mentor and team members! The **Front Desk/Patient Coordinator** is the right hand of the Operations Manager and the face of the practice. This role is an integral part of the office team with strong interpersonal and organizational skills. He/she works closely with patients and clinical team members, coordinates appointments, manages schedules and patient flow, and assists patients with financial arrangements. The Front Desk/Patient Coordinator also reaches out to patients on a daily basis and is seen as a key point of contact internally and externally. **Key Responsibilities**

* Prepare and present dentist-diagnosed treatment plans and financial estimates to patients

* Schedule patient treatment appointments

* Reschedule patients who miss appointments

* Contact patients to complete treatment

* Manage dentist and hygienist schedules

* Work with our clinical team to effectively manage daily patient flow

* Provide communications and information to appropriate team members

* Assist patients with financial arrangements, overcoming any and all objections

* Execute all treatment paperwork including consent forms, policy forms and exit paperwork

* Adhere to confidentiality, state, federal and HIPAA laws and guidelines

* Other front desk duties as assigned

**Qualifications**

* Previous experience in a dental practice strongly preferred

* Ability to understand insurance plans

* Knowledge of Microsoft and software applications

* Excellent verbal communication

* Must be able to work an ocassional evening shift and a Saturday
