- Assist with mounting the roll-off hoist.
- Mount drop axles and properly plump controls.
- Read and understand blueprints.
- Ability to join metal components and fabricated assemblies with guidance.
- Operate hand grinder, power tools, welding equipment, and torches.
- Chip or grind out holes, bubbles, or cracks.
- Assist other team members in solving mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Maintain a neat and clean workspace.
- Mechanical Aptitude
- Experience in welding, cutting, and layout operations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical and hydraulic schematics.
- Ability to diagnose and repair electrical and hydraulic circuit component issues.
- Ability to frequently kneel, bend, squat, push, pull, and reach.
- Must be able to lift and move more than 25lbs without assistance.
- Must be able to get into and out of various vehicles without assistance.
- Must have own tools including welding helmet.
