Learn, understand, and implement hardware emulation of hardware devices such as CPU, RAM, Disk, MMUs, IO, NICs, and System on a Chips. Participate in the software engineer process including testing, peer review, and software release.Technical RequirementsRequired Skills3+ years of experience with C programming3+ years of low level development experience such as emulation, drivers, or OS kernelsFamiliarity with at least one scripting language (Python, Ruby, etc.)Familiarity with source management tools (git, svn, etc.)Familiarity with reverse engineering (Ghidra, IDA, Binary Ninja, etc.)3-8 years of software engineering experienceCapable of completing software development tasks with minimal supervisionDesired SkillsExperience with hardware emulationExperience with at least one Assembly language (x86, PPC, ARM, MIPS, etc.)Knowledge of embedded systems including UART, boot-up sequences and updating devicesUnderstanding of network protocols (TCP/IP stacks, wire-level protocols, routing protocols, etc.)Familiarity with Operating System internals (Linux, Windows, RTOS)Experience with Continuous Integration systems (Bamboo, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)EducationBachelor's degree or higher in a discipline related to Software EngineeringRequires expert or mastery level knowledge of work area, typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.May have deep knowledge of project management. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
