**Job Duties and Responsibilities**

* Seeking a Data warehouse engineer with experience with the Microsoft stack of data warehouse tools (SQL, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS).

* The contractor will be part of a database team and responsible for participating in data warehouse projects and daily data warehouse support tasks.

* Daily administrative support of current data warehouse environment

* Lead efforts in designing and building current data warehouse environment

* Review and improve current data warehouse infrastructure as needed

* Play a key role in building new data warehouse workflows for ETL, cubes, Power BI visuals

* Document and communicate issues, solutions, and timelines to appropriate stakeholders

* Assist with implementation of monitoring tools

**Position Requirements**

* 5 years experience in building data warehouse environments (cubes, tabular, etc.)

* 5 years hands on administrative experience with SSAS, SSIS and SQL server

* 3 years experience in data warehouse design ( e.g. ETL, cubes)

* 3 years experience troubleshooting data warehouse environments

* 3 years experience with documentation and interpretation of business, data and process requirements

* 3 years experience with Microsoft SQL data warehouse and SQL server

* 1 years experience with PL/SQL and stored procedures in Oracle

* 5 years experience with SSRS, Power BI, ETL using SSIS

* 5 years experience mentoring team members

* 5 years experience in triage and troubleshooting issues

* 5 years experience demonstrated organizational and interpersonal skills
