Position Overview:

Our client is looking for an Accounting Manager to oversee the financial operations within their organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing strategic financial insights to support the company's mission of providing outstanding healthcare services.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Prepare financial statements, reports, and forecasts for management.
  • Develop and manage budgets, working closely with department heads to ensure financial goals are met.
  • Create financial forecasts to support the organization's long-term planning and strategic initiatives.
  • Analyze financial data to identify areas for cost reduction or revenue improvement.
  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff, ensuring their professional growth and development.
  • Foster a collaborative and productive work environment within the accounting team.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide guidance to team members.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable financial regulations, laws, and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with auditors during internal and external audits.
  • Implement best practices and internal controls to safeguard financial assets.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
  • Proven experience in accounting management, preferably in a healthcare or related setting.
  • Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial regulations.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency with financial software and advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • A commitment to upholding ethical and professional standards.
