Candidates applying for this position possess:

* Associates degree in related field or equivalent experience in HR.

* Minimum 2-3 years of experience working in HR in a healthcare organization.

* Professional certificate in Human Resources field (PHR) preferred.

* Experience in HRIS, Applicant Tracking, and proficiency in MS Office Suite.

Primary Functions & Responsibilities:

* Posting and advertising open positions and assisting in recruitment process. Checking applicant references and initiating needed paperwork.

* Conducts research and collects statistical information for preparing and analyzing the information for use in drafting of new procedures and policies.

* Maintains Applicant Tracking System.

* Adopts and adapts to new technologies.

* Responsible for assisting in the implementation of recruitment and retention under the direction of the Director of Human Resources

* Collaborates with the clinical directors and patient care services directors to define current staffing recruitment needs for patient care for specific patient populations throughout Vinson Hall.

* Schedules employment interviews with hiring manager.

* Recruits, screens, interviews, and refers qualified applicants to the appropriate managers.
