Join our growing team today: Purpose: The Total Rewards Specialist is responsible in assisting with the day-to-day administration and managing all of our total rewards programs to include, benefits, 401k, and bonus programs. This position will serve as an advisor and resource to explain benefit plans and other program procedures; prepare, assist or lead quarterly/annual audits and maintain records in accordance with guidelines and regulations. Additionally, this position will partner with our Total Rewards team to research and recommend appropriate benefits plans and services based on data analysis. Responsibilities Work with carriers, vendors, employees and Human Resources to respond to employee benefits-related questions or other general inquiries. Monitor benefit administration within our Human Resources Information System (HRIS) to trouble shoot any issues and make updates as necessary. Plan educational events such as financial, mental health, retirement sessions and for employees and human resources Create, develop and update Total Rewards communications for internal notifications in multiple locations. Ensure the accuracy of all benefits enrollments in the HRIS electronically transmitting to vendors with accurate eligibility information. Review and process billing; reach out to carrier/vendor when there are discrepancies to correct/question. Reporting and data analysis, including performing quality checks of benefits-related data and accuracy of billing information. Assist in preparing quarterly and annual reports. Serves as a liaison between beneficiaries and participants and the plan administrator, handling or facilitating requests for contribution adjustments, refunds, and other administrative changes. Coordinates with actuaries, plan administrators, accountants, and other professionals to provide verified and compiled data for administration of benefits. Maintains a pulse on associate engagement via regular feedback and survey data; executes improvement plans when applicable. Demonstrates project, time management, and leadership by overseeing and executing total rewards initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business administration, Human Resources, or related field preferred. 2-4 years of experience in Human Resources preferred. Knowledge of employee federal and state benefit laws Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience working with HRIS systems, Oracle a plus. Intermediate skills in excel. Experience with reporting and data analysis a plus SHRM, PHR, or CBP certification preferred. Desired Skills and Attributes Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to clearly explain options in easily understood terms. Excellent organizational skills, problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. Thorough understanding of laws, regulations, and agency interpretations or opinions related to benefits. Demonstrated ability to use sound judgment in decision-making and handle confidential information. Ability to shift priorities quickly in a fast-paced, changing environment. Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Experience in Oracle a plus.
