Perfect Attendance Days Competitive Benefits. Responsibilities Responsibilities Collect samples from the production floor. Perform variable inspections that provide metrology data such as size, weight, thickness, or opacity. Perform attribute inspections comparing to established standards that note the presence or absence of a physical, visual, or functional characteristic or defect. Examples of these attributes include holes in product, deformation, contamination, and damage. Leads a small team of packers - train new packers and team members, assist with assigning team members to production lines and breaks. Teaches the team how to pack, about the products, goals and expectations within the line by communicating with packers, operators and lead operators. Fill in as a packer and assist packers when they are running behind. Assist in implementing and following all GMPs, Safety rules and Berry Values. Qualifications Qualifications The employee must demonstrate the ability to work independently, with minimal supervision. Ability to read a caliper, micrometer, digital indicator and scale. Ability to read and comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports or correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-to-one or small group situations with other employees of the organization. Good computer skills: Microsoft Office, ERP and inspection programs. High school diploma or GED equivalent. Associate degree, HACCP and/or SQF experience is a plus. One or more years working in a quality related position. This is a 12- hour shifts - OT as required.
